Nothing like preparing for taxes to make you realize all you had done in the past year. It never feels like much, until you have to track down paperwork to prove it.
Bought my first house. How much was spent moving and "making it mine." The number of charity that was donated to. No major medical expediences, no major dental work. Some over time, took some vacation time this year. Went on a business trip to Washington DC.
Of course the most frustrating part of this whole process is how much money I made vs how much Uncle Sam let me keep.
Over all 2008 was pretty good. Now to see what 2009 holds.
