I got back from a conference in Washington DC. It was my first time in DC. I didn't get to see a whole lot, the conference kept me inside most all day.
I did walk Sunday morning the 2 miles to the conference from my hotel. I also managed to catch a guided tour of a few monuments one night. I guess I am too dedicated to my work. I figured if they spent the money to send me, and I am getting payed, I best work, not sight see.
I learned a lot, and am glad to be back on the West coast. I am mostly grateful to get my three hours of sleep back.
