The trailer for the Doom Movie is out. They show it taking place on a Mars research facility. It looks like instead of the gates of Hell being opened, they are going for something dealing with mapping the human genes. It looks like a Resident Evil rip off. One thing that did stand out is that they have some of the fighting in first person perspective. It looked kind of goofy and very video gameish. It may be cool, or it may just turn out to be highly annoying and cause motion sickness. I had a hard time not laughing just watching the trailer. It looks like they may have paid attention to some of the fan complaints, but the human genetic science experiment going wrong, and everything in the complex is now a mutant zombie is just a bit stale.
